# Jayaditya Tenampet > Product manager building consumer AI. Mechanical engineer by training. Source: https://frostworks.dev/ --- ## About I'm a product manager at Vel Labs, where we're building Sola, an AI companion. I studied mechanical engineering and spent most of college on 3D modeling, simulations and prototyping. Since then I've worked in an oil depot control room, on lending at Jar, and on land records at Zoop Money. Outside work, I ride motorcycles. ## Explore - [Experience](https://frostworks.dev/experience.md): Where Jayaditya has worked and studied. - [Projects](https://frostworks.dev/projects.md): Things Jayaditya has built. So far I've worked on three. AI se, an English learning app. Instamarks, a K-12 learning app. And Sola, an AI companion, which is what we're building now. #### [Zoop Money](https://zoop.money) - Product Manager, Apr 2025 – Dec 2025 I built Docmarvel, a digital record for every piece of land. It made development loans easier to underwrite and property approvals easier to check. #### [Jar](https://www.myjar.app) Product Analyst Intern → Product Analyst → Associate Product Manager - Product Analyst Intern, Jun 2023 – Nov 2023 - Product Analyst, Nov 2023 – Jun 2024 - Associate Product Manager, Jun 2024 – Apr 2025 I worked on lending, mainly loan conversions, user acquisition, credit report coverage and engagement. #### [Bharat Petroleum](https://www.bharatpetroleum.in) - Control Room Engineer, Jun 2022 – Nov 2022 I ran the control room at an oil depot and managed fuel flow from the refinery to multiple cities. #### [Surveyaan](https://www.surveyaan.com) - Mechanical Design Intern, Jun 2021 – Oct 2021 I designed and 3D printed prototypes for India's first DGPS module and Surveyaan's survey drones. ### Education #### [NIT Meghalaya](https://www.nitm.ac.in) - B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering, 2018 – 2022 I spent most of my time on 3D modeling, simulations and rapid prototyping. --- ## Projects All projects are private. There are no public links or repositories. ### Byte _AI companion app_ A companion that chats, calls, remembers your life between conversations and reaches out on its own. One backend serves the web, Android and iOS apps. I built it to see what a companion feels like when it has memory and a bit of a life of its own. ### Freecalidraw _Whiteboard with a drawing agent_ You describe a diagram, or drop in a document or a photo of a whiteboard, and an agent draws it as editable shapes. It then looks at its own drawing and fixes what's off. Built as an agent loop on top of an open-source whiteboard. ### Pvalue _Significance for experiments_ Tells you whether an experiment result is real or noise, for regular A/B tests and paywall tests. Paywalls are judged on revenue per impression, because a cheaper plan that converts more can still earn less. Built because standard calculators get paywalls wrong. ### OpenSheets _One window for a team's sheets_ Puts a team's Google Sheets in one place, grouped into spaces. Each sheet opens live and editable, and recent ones stay loaded so switching is instant. Built to stop juggling a dozen spreadsheet tabs. --- ## Collections ### Books - The Signal and the Noise, Nate Silver - Experimentation Works, Stefan Thomke - Measure What Matters, John Doerr - The Design of Everyday Things, Don Norman - Crossing the Chasm, Geoffrey A. Moore - Inspired, Marty Cagan - The Marketing Imagination, Theodore Levitt - The Art of Insight in Science and Engineering, Sanjoy Mahajan ### Games - Hollow Knight - Hollow Knight: Silksong - Ghost of Tsushima - Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Ori and the Blind Forest - Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Valorant - Subnautica - Mirror's Edge - Subnautica 2 - Raft - Peak ### Quotes > कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन। > मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ > > You have a right to your work, but never to its results.
